The American Marketing Association hosted their 2021 Leadership Summit this last weekend. Leadership Summit is about growth and networking as chapter leaders come together to share new ideas, break through roadblocks, and lean on each other to help solve tough challenges. Educational sessions, workshops, speakers, and informal discussions prepare chapter leaders to excel to their greatest potential.
AMA Omaha was proud to have four of our board members presenting at this national conference. AMA President, Jordan Maddex-Kopp, was busy throughout the conference presenting on Chapter Sponsorship, Partnership Excellence, and Membership Best Practices. She was also featured on the Chapter Excellence Awards (CEA) Winners Panel, celebrating AMA Omaha’s CEA Gold-winning entry.
Sarah Morris presented AMA’s Board in a Box 2021 Refresh and Relaunch and gave everyone an overview on Chapter Communications and Technology Excellence. Natalie Wickham and Cindy McAndrew both represented the AMA Omaha Communications team and shared their best practices, challenges, and opportunities in a Let’s Talk Communications! panel discussion.
Our AMA Omaha chapter had the most board members registered out of all AMA chapters. We strive to keep building the best local chapter for our community!
