This year, your AMA Omaha Board was thrilled to host the AMA Midwest-West Regional Retreat – a huge honor for our Chapter. Host Chapters are known for their enthusiasm, professionalism and dedication to AMA – it shows that on a national level, Omaha is making waves!
As hosts this year, AMA Omaha organized a two-day Omaha Old Market event to showcase our incredible community to AMA Chapter leaders from Milwaukee, Iowa, Lincoln, Minnesota, Wichita and Northeast Wisconsin. Each guest who attended our Retreat left with a sense of the welcoming and warm community Omaha is, and who we are as a Chapter. From a celebratory happy hour at Stokes to an all-day workshop at The Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce, we loved meeting new people, sharing trends and ideas, and making connections that will continue to drive AMA forward both here in Omaha and on a national scale.
Speaking of ideas – boy, were we excited to share what AMA Omaha has been up to! From our rebranded event series to our upcoming Pinnacle Awards competition and experienced, award-winning Board, we dove headfirst into discussions about not only how we have grown, but where we plan to be months and years from now. Your local Board attended this event in force, with a focus on What’s Next four our programs, our members, and our friends in the community. We left energized to find new ways to add value, create connections, and offer insights into the constantly changing industry we all love so much.
